Below is a link to the Yorkshire short course qualifying times.  Your challenge is to attempt to make the qualifying standard for as many different events as you can before entries close after the City of Leeds September Meet. Good Luck.

Upper Qualifying Times (13 & Over)

Lower Qualifying Times (12 & Under)

Not long to go now until our Olympics (Welsh Nationals & the Sheffield Summer Meet).  This is the last stretch now until the end of the season, try to attend every session between now and then to give you the best possible chance of success.  Let's smash it!!!!!!

Remember............
Always practice Olympic starts, turns and finishes in training and then transfer this into your race.

Lack of concentration on skills in training only means you will be getting great at performing poor starts, turns and finishes.

Speed + no skill = only good until the skilful swimmers catch up
Skill + no speed = looks pretty but can't quite manage to achieve the qualifying time
Speed + Great Skills = recipe for success

Keep Training Hard!

Welsh Summer Nationals 2022 - Online Entry

Dear all,

Just a reminder that any outstanding balance payments for the Welsh Summer Nationals are due to be paid online by 20:30 on Monday 4th July. Please also remember (if you haven't already) code of conduct forms, medical forms, lunch forms and t-shirt sizes must be given to Angela Dyer as soon as possible.

The Open Meet entry system will become available on Wednesday 15th June at 9:00am (tomorrow). This entry system is an online system. Swimmers (Parents) must enter themselves. The meet is held over 5 days and there is no guarantee you will get the entries you want so we advise swimmers to enter ALL events that they qualify in. As this is always a particularly busy meet, we cannot stress how important it is that entries are made as soon as it opens on Wednesday at 9:00am. Entries will close at 5pm on 1st July.  After this window closes, the remaining lanes (not taken by invited swimmers) and any additional they can offer may be reopened and filled on a first come first serve basis.

Please find below a link to the Welsh Summer Nationals online entry system.
