Final Reminder - 2026 Club Registration Fees

Just a reminder that there are 3 days left to pay your Club and Swim England fees for 2026.  These can now be paid online through your City of Leeds My Membership account here.  In order to get to the checkout you must ensure all your details are up to date first. The system will accept only card payments, either debit card or credit card. Where 2 or more swimmers from one family are members, the system will give a total amount to pay and may not show the total amount against each child.

 

City of Leeds Club and Swim England fees for 2026 are as follows.

• 1st child in family (£120 Club/ £46.45 SE)                              

£166.45 (LX Card = £118.45) 

 

• 2nd child in family (£70.00 Club/ £46.45 SE)                                      

£116.45 (LX Card = £88.45) 

 

• 3rd and further child in family (£45.00 Club/ £46.45 SE)                    

£91.45 (LX Card = £73.45) 

Photography 

City of Leeds SC reserves the right to take and/or publish images of club members by the club's official photographer(s) in accordance with the SE Photography and Photographing Swimmers Policy. 

 

If you do not wish your son/daughter/swimmer to be photographed, please notify the COLSC Child Welfare Officer in writing. Contact details can be obtained from the club's web site. 

Once again, all fees must be paid by 31st January at the latest otherwise swimmers will be lapsed from the SE register and will not be eligible to train or compete.

Who?  Children aged 8 and under! You must be able to swim 25 metres (1 length) of 3 different strokes

Yorkshire Team Selections 2026

Good afternoon,

Please see below links to the team selections for the forthcoming Yorkshire Team Championships 2026. This event will take place on Sunday 22nd February 2026 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield. Full event information is available to view on the Yorkshire Swimming website here.

There are two attachments, please check both. Some individuals have been selected to compete in their own individual age group and also the 'Open' age group which could mean that these individuals will be racing across both the AM and PM sessions. All team selections have been made in accordance with the respective relay team selection policy, which is available to download here.

Please note, team selections were made from the Swim England rankings following the Winter Development Meet and performances at the individual events within the Yorkshire Championships will not be considered when allocating swimmers to teams.

Harrogate Spa Town Meet 2026

Entries for the Harrogate Spa Town Meet held at Harrogate Hydro on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th March are now open via your City of Leeds online accounts.  Open to swimmers aged 9+ (age at 29th March 2026).

Entries will close at 21:30 on Monday 2nd February.

400m FS

200m & 400m IM

Swimmers are advised to enter events they currently do not already have NER and Yorkshire times in.

Swimmers must not have swum faster than the Upper Limit Time in the previous 12 months. More information can be found here.

Great Start to 2026 at the City of Leeds New Year Meet

A great weekend of racing in our home pool over the weekend.  It was fantastic to see the first racing of 2026.  We are looking forward to watching some quality swimming at the Yorkshire's in February.  Overall...........

City of Leeds New Year Meet & Training Changes

Hi all,

The City of Leeds New Year Meet is our first competition of 2026.  Good luck everyone who is competing.  This competition is the last opportunity to qualify for the Long Course Yorkshire Championships 2026.  A link to the qualifying times can be found below.

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets are £5.00 per session and can be purchased here.  Kids 12 and under go free. 

Gala timings are as follows:

SAT AM:

Arrival: 07:30 Open/Male, 07:55 Female

Warm Up:  08:00 - 08:50 (Start 09:00), 

08:00-08:25 Open/Male, 08:25-08:50 Female

SAT PM:

Arrival: 12:45 Open/Male, 13:10 Female

Warm Up:  13:00 - 13:50 (Start 14:00), 

13:00-13:25 Open/Male, 13:25-13:50 Female

SUN AM:
