ASANER Age Group Championships 2026

Hi all,

Once payment is made you will not be able to edit your entries.

Entries for the North Eastern Counties are now open and will close at 9:30pm on Monday 13th April. Swimmers are advised to enter ALL EVENTS they have qualified for. This is the biggest competition in the Regional competition calendar and one of the hardest to qualify for. Anyone who has achieved a time (even if it is only in one event) should race. This meet is a fantastic opportunity to compete against the fastest swimmers in the North East.

Held at John Charles Aquatics Centre on 25th/ 26th April and 9th/, 10th May

Open to swimmers aged 11 yrs + (Age at 31st December 2026)

*Qualifying times must have been achieved no earlier than 1st September 2024 & be downloaded from the British Swimming Rankings. Converted Times will be accepted using the ASA Equivalent Performance Tables. Times set in Level 4 Meets will not be accepted.

- Click Enter Gala and follow the instructions

Spectating at the Championships

NER will be pre-selling the admission tickets for all days. Tickets will be sold on a first come/first served basis until the capacity is reached. We will not be selling tickets at the venue. Tickets are priced at £10 per day, which entitles one person to spectate at the event at any one time.

As long as there is only one person in the venue per ticket, they can be passed onto other parents to use. There will be no concessions except one child under 5 will be admitted when accompanying a ticket holder.

Spring Development Meet 2026

Hi all,

There will be no Saturday AM training (4th April) for those swimmers in Age Group Development 1 who are competing in the Spring Development Meet this weekend.

Swimmers should report to their old County Squad Coach for this meet.

If there are any parents willing to help out on the day, please email Anna Darnell (anna.darnell79@gmail.com) and let her know of your availability. This meet cannot run without the help of parent volunteers.
