Winter Yorkshire Entries Now Open

Hi all,

Entries for the Winter Yorkshires are now open online and will close at 21:30 on Monday 18th September. No late entries will be accepted.

Swimmers can check which events they currently qualify for here.

(Any events with a tick box and time means you have qualified and can enter that event)

Swimmers are advised to enter ALL EVENTS they have qualified in.

Please note, this is a Level 2 meet. Only swimmers who have swum faster than the qualifying times from 1^st September 2021 are eligible for entry into this competition.

Yorkshire Long Course Qualifying Times 2024

Hi all,

Below is a link to the Long Course Yorkshire Qualifying Times for 2024. Remember the aim is to qualify for the Yorkshires in as many events as possible. Please bare this in mind when entering the upcoming competitions as I know some of you are very close. Swimmers should then enter ALL EVENTS they have qualified for at the Yorkshire's as the competition is over three weekends.

Please be aware that the last competition in our calendar to qualify for the Yorkshire's is the City of Leeds New Year Meet. The Yorkshire entries closing date will be Monday 8^th January 2024.

Any times achieved Short Course will need to be converted to Long Course using the converter in the link below to see if you have achieved the long course qualifying time. Squad PB sheets will be adjusted with the new qualifying times shortly.

September Sprints 2023

Hi all,

Both squads are due to race in the City of Leeds September Sprints Meet on Saturday 9th September. Below are the meet details. Please remember that it is City of Leeds Club policy to arrive on poolside and check in with the team managing staff 30 minutes before pool warm up.

Due to the competition, there will be no training on Saturday 9th September AM. Friday 8th September will be an hour (18:30-19:30) for both squads.

Spectators

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets will be £5 each and can be purchased We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets will be £5 each and can be purchased here. Kids 12 and under go free.

Swimmers will be asked to leave poolside during the lunch break. At this time swimmers are the responsibility of their parents / guardians.

Please ensure swimmers have suitable footwear whilst walking around, particularly up and down the balcony steps and especially when wet. It will be another warm weekend at Leeds so please also ensure your swimmers take on lots of fluids, there are water fountains situated throughout JCCS.

MAK Swimwear will be in attendance this weekend, it's their first anniversary and they have some lovely prizes. Our supporters committee will also be selling ice pops so bring some change as they're perfect for whilst you're sat in the heat.

As always, if there are any withdrawals please let us know by Friday 8th September 5pm at the latest by emailing leedsentries@gmail.com.

Please note a limited number spectator tickets for the Winter Yorkshires are now on sale and are available to purchase here. Tickets are only currently on sale for the upper age Yorkshires (13 & Over) on the 7th & 8th October.

Anyone wanting to purchase tickets for the lower age Yorkshires (12 & under) should keep an eye on the Yorkshires website here for when they become available.
