Yorkshire Championships 2020 Rejected Entries

We have had a dramatic increase in the number of swimmers who have qualified for the 800m & 1500m Freestyle at the Yorkshire County Championships to be held in February 2020. In order to keep sessions to a reasonable length it is necessary to reject a number of swimmers who have qualified for these Events.

We have still scheduled 10 heats of each event.

Rejections are based on the standard of the entrants across the various age groupings.

We realise that this decision will not be popular with some swimmers but there is little else that we can do in the circumstances. We apologise for any inconvenience that this decision may cause.

All entries for the other events at the Championships have been accepted.

Arrangements will be made to refund the entry fees for the rejected swims.
