Regional Crack the Christmas Cracker

There was some great racing from the Regional Squads at the Leeds Christmas Cracker, finishing 2021 in style.

Regional Development achieved 172 Lifetime Bests out of 2172 Swims, 32 Gold Medals, 29 Silver Medals, 24 Bronze Medals, 26 more Yorkshire Qualifying times for 2022 and 1 long course NER.

March Madness Entries

Hi All,

Entries for the March Madness Meet held at Ponds Forge on Sunday 6th March are no open for entry online and will close at 8:30pm on Monday 3rd January.

Competition open to swimmers aged 9+ (Age as at 6th March 2022).

This meet is Long Course and entries available will be 50's and 100's all strokes (not IM).

Swimmers are advised to enter a maximum of 3 events per session. For those swimmers who have already got Yorkshire qualifying times this is the perfect opportunity to start chasing the NER qualifying times.

Yorkshire SA Championships & Yorkshire SA Sprints Championships Entries 2022

Hi All,

Entries for the Yorkshire Championships are now open via your online account and will close at 8:30pm on Monday 10th January.

Log into your online account, click 'Galas' from the menu and click on 'Enter Gala', then select 'Yorkshires 2022'. Please note entries are not accepted until payment is made.

The Yorkshire Championships is one of the biggest meets in the County and Regional Squads competition calendar and therefore swimmers should enter ALL! races they have achieved a qualifying time in. For some swimmers it may look like you have a lot of events to swim when you fill your forms in, however the meet is spread across three weekends, so you won't have to swim everything all in one go.

Any swimmers still chasing times at the New Year Meet can log in and enter events, however, please do not pay. Once payment is made no additional entries can be added on. Please make pay after the New Year Meet.

Converted times from short course are allowed. Some of you may need to use the converter below to see if your short course times converted to long course are a Yorkshire Qualifying time.

2022 Club Registration Fees

Fees are due again on the 1^st January 2022, but due to current restrictions obviously things are again going to be a bit different to previous years as we are unable to collect at the pool.

The committee have decided that we will be collecting club fees again this year in addition to Swim England fees. The new payment system needs to collect club fees and Swim England fees separately. This rather simplifies matters for SE fees in that there are only two categories for swimmers to fall into, Category 1 and Category 2.

Category 1 fees (for swimmers aged 8 and under) will be £15.45.

Category 2 fees (for all other swimmers) will be £34.25.

If your swimmer is likely to turn 9 in the first couple of months of 2022, please renew them as category 2.

Club fees are £10 for category 1 swimmers and £115.00 for category 2 swimmers (Second child £69.00 and third child £46.00). Category 2 club fees only (not SE fees) can be discounted by 40% for holders of LX cards.

Fees can be discounted by £5.00 if paid before 31 January.

We are using the new online system this year to enable remote payment and all our swimmers have been loaded on the system by Kevin. You may have received an email from him with details, but it is important that you log in and set up your account using 'Change my password' for the setting up. Please use this link to access your account and enter your card details. https://membership.myswimmingclub.uk/ldse/resetpassword

The system will accept only card payments, either debit card or credit card. The system should be able to identify your swimmer even where surnames differ. I will be able to see when a payment has been made, at which point I will renew your swimmer's registration, or if the payment has defaulted.

This is all new to everyone so please bear with us as there may be teething troubles.

Once again, all fees must to be paid by 22 February at the latest otherwise swimmers will be lapsed from the SE register.
