Preparation for your race is almost more important than how you swim the race itself. If you do not prepare your body and mind in the correct way before you get on the blocks, it is not going to be able to perform to the level that you want it to. For you guys, this prep starts even potentially hours before your race. Making sure we are warmed up properly, also making sure we are feeding ourselves with the right fuel, especially with the long, hot days we really need a big effort to try and keep ourselves energised and ready to race.

Am Sessions (Heats)
Withdrawals - If a swimmer is not going to swim in a heat, they must inform the Entry Manager of their intention to withdraw no later than 5pm on the Friday Evening for all events on the Saturday and 5pm on Saturday for events on Sunday. Seeded Heat Start lists will be produced. Notifications should be sent to: nerswimmingmanager@asaner.org.uk
