City of Leeds New Year Meet & Training Changes

Hi all,

The City of Leeds New Year Meet is our first competition of 2025. Good luck everyone who is competing. This competition is the last opportunity to qualify for the Long Course Yorkshire Championships 2025. A link to the qualifying times can be found below.

Yorkshire Long Course Championships 2025

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Once set up tickets will be £5 per session and can be purchased here. Kids 12 and under go free.

Gala timings are as follows:

SAT AM:

Arrival: 07:30 Open/Male, 07:55 Female

Warm Up: 08:00 - 08:50 (Start 09:00),

08:00-08:25 Open/Male, 08:25-08:50 Female

SAT PM:

Arrival: 12:45 Open/Male, 13:10 Female

Warm Up: 13:00 - 13:50 (Start 14:00),

13:00-13:25 Open/Male, 13:25-13:50 Female

SUN AM:

Arrival: 07:30 Female, 07:55 Open/Male

Warm Up: 08:00 - 08:50 (Start 09:00),

08:00-08:25 Female, 08:25-08:50 Open/Male

SUN PM:

Arrival: 12:45 Female, 13:10 Open/Male

Could we also ask clubs to please ensure their swimmers have suitable footwear on whilst walking around, particularly up and down the balcony steps and especially when wet.

Our supporters committee will also have a raffle, tombola, sweets and ice pops to sell so bring some change if you want to partake.

As always, if there are any withdrawals please let us know by Friday 3rd January at 5pm the latest by emailing leedsentries@gmail.com.
