Snow Frills Entries

Hi all,

Entries for the Snow Frills Meet held at Ponds Forge Sheffield on Saturday 29th November & Sunday 30th November will close for entry at 21:30 on Monday 22nd September. No late entries will be accepted.

Entries Open to Ages 9+ (Age as at 30th November 2025)

100m all strokes

Junior League National Final

Any swimmers (aged 9-12, age at 30th November) who are currently ranked in the top 4 for their age group in Freestyle or the top 2 in a form stroke, please be aware you could be selected for the Junior League National Final which clashes with the Sunday of the Snow Frills.

Swimmers selected for Junior League are to prioritise attending the National final over attending the Sheffield Snow Frills. With this in mind if you are in a strong position to be selected for the team then you should only enter the Saturday events of the Snow Frills. Please be aware City of Leeds will not be able to refund entries once entries are submitted and paid to Sheffield.

Swimmers are advised to enter at least 2 -3 races per session.

Remember when planning your races, the aim is to achieve as many Yorkshire or NER Qualifying times as possible. Once you have achieved a Yorkshire or NER qualifying time, you should concentrate on updating times in other events.

Hi all,

Entries for the Winter Yorkshires are now open online and will close at 21:30 on Monday 22nd September. No late entries will be accepted.

City of Leeds Club Championships Results

Well done to the swimmers who competed in the City of Leeds Club Championships on Saturday.

Please note - as this was a Level 4 meet, only qualification times achieved for the Yorkshire Championships will count. Any NER times achieved will need to be swum again at a Level 1-3 competition to count towards qualification. Level 4 times cannot be used for qualification into the NER's or higher.

A great start to the 2025-26 season. Keep up the hard work and try to attend as many sessions as possible going into the next few competitions.

Yorkshire Long Course Qualifying Times 2026

Hi all,

Below is a link to the Long Course Yorkshire Qualifying Times for 2026. Remember the aim is to qualify for the Yorkshires in as many events as possible. Please bare this in mind when entering the upcoming competitions as I know some of you are very close. Swimmers should then enter ALL EVENTS they have qualified for at the Yorkshire's as the competition is over three weekends.

Please be aware that the last competition in our calendar to qualify for the Yorkshire's is the City of Leeds New Year Meet. The Yorkshire entries closing date will be Monday 12th January 2026.

Any times achieved Short Course will need to be converted to Long Course using the converter in the link below to see if you have achieved the long course qualifying time. Squad PB sheets will be adjusted with the new qualifying times shortly.

City of Leeds Club Championships 2025

Hi all,

Both squads are due to race in the City of Leeds September Sprints Meet on Saturday 7th September. Below are the meet details. Please remember that it is City of Leeds Club policy to arrive on poolside and check in with the team managing staff 30 minutes before pool warm up.

Due to the competition, there will be no training on Saturday 6th September AM. Friday 6th September will be an hour for Regional Development (18:30-19:30), Regional Performance will be normal (18:15-19:45).

Spectators

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets will be £5 each and can be purchased here. Kids 12 and under go free.

Swimmers will be asked to leave poolside during the lunch break. At this time swimmers are the responsibility of their parents / guardians.

Please ensure swimmers have suitable footwear whilst walking around, particularly up and down the balcony steps and especially when wet. It will be another warm weekend at Leeds so please also ensure your swimmers take on lots of fluids, there are water fountains situated throughout JCCS.

Our supporters committee will also be selling ice pops so bring some change as they're perfect for whilst you're sat in the heat.

As always, if there are any withdrawals please let us know by 5pm on Friday 5th September at the latest by emailing leedsentries@gmail.com.
