Another weekend of excellent racing. Keep up the hard work and the training will pay off.
With the North Eastern's coming up (our major competition) make sure every turn, every start, every finish is practiced like you would do in a race to give yourself a chance of knocking those seconds off and moving up the results sheet to the top. Try and attend all sessions between now and the North Eastern's to give yourself the best chance of doing well.
Being your best...
"Being your best is not so much about overcoming the barriers other people place in front of you as it is about overcoming the barriers we place in front of ourselves. It has nothing to do with how many times you win or lose. It has no relation to where you finish in a race or whether you break world records. But it does have everything to do with having the vision to dream, the courage to recover from adversity and the determination never to be shifted from your goals". (Kieren Perkins, 1500m Freestyle Olympic Champion 1992, 1996)
