After the Yorkshire Championships have finished, we will be entering a block of harder training for 8 weeks leading into the next competitions. During this time the focus is not on racing and therefore we haven't scheduled any competitions until the end of those 8 weeks. At the end of the block we are targeting two meets for swimmers to race at and hopefully achieve NER qualifications. These are as follows:
Harrogate Spa - 25th & 26th April at the Hydro in Harrogate (Details)
Doncaster Dartes Mayday - 2nd & 3rd May at the John Charles Centre (Details)
It would be best to try and spread the events over the two weekends so the swimmers aren't in every single race at one competition. This will allow the swimmers to focus, race hard and give themselves the best chance of achieving PB's.
