Junior League - Round 1

What a fantastic morning of competition at the Annual White Rose Junior League last Saturday morning.  In a closely fought battle between City of Leeds A Team and City of Sheffield A Team were tied on points at the end of the competition.  As only 1 team can progress to the Northern Final, there was a count back of 1st places. Leeds prevailed by 1.  Sheffield had 17 first places against Leeds 18.  The B team did a great job of stealing valuable points from not only the competition but our own A team to keep us in contention.  Well done everyone, it was a tense and amazing experience.

The next round of the Junior League is the Northern Final which will be held on Sunday 4th October at Stechford Cascades Leisure Centre, Station Road, Birmingham.  This is our sixth year in the competition and after winning four years in a row (2010 - 2013).  It would be great to storm through the next round and get the trophy back in Leeds by winning the National Final.
