Thursday 7th May - Training Changes (1500m Time Trial)

Just a reminder that we will be doing a 1500m Time Trial for swimmers in Age Group Development 1 & 2 on Thursday 7th May. So we can accommodate all swimmers, training will start at the earlier time of 5:00am for this session.

This will not be a normal session. Swimmers will perform a warmup, time trial and swim down. All swimmers are expected to stay and perform the coach prescribed swim down at the end of the time trial before they leave.

The 1500m time trial is a key indicator in testing the aerobic endurance of the swimmers.

ALL members from Age group Development 1 who normally attend Thursday morning should be in attendance. All members of Age Group Development 2 who attend Thursday mornings should also attend. Any swimmers who have qualified and raced the 800m or 1500m races at the NER's do not need to attend.
