Volunteering opportunities at Swim England Summer Championships (Ponds Forge)

Hello all,

As a Swim England Performance Centre, COLSC has been asked to help out at the upcoming Summer Championships at Ponds Forge.

They are looking for some of our younger swimmers and athletes who aren't competing this year to volunteer as kit carriers and medal bearers during the finals. It’s a brilliant opportunity for them to get poolside at a major national event, experience the atmosphere, and watch the racing up close. It is also a great option for any siblings of those who are competing.

The details:

Dates: Monday 27th July to Saturday 1st August.
Timings: Roughly 17:00 – 20:00 (Monday to Friday) and from 14:30 on the Saturday.

They are also looking for volunteers aged 16+ to help out with Front of House and Field of Play roles, so parents or older siblings are welcome to get involved too.

Swim England runs the roster on a first-come, first-served basis. If your swimmer (or you) would like to help out, please either fill out the form here or reply directly to Nina.Coverley@swimming.org with their name, age, and the days/sessions they are free.
