ASANER Qualifying Times 2023 - Long Course Champs

Hi All,

Here is a link to the new North Eastern Qualifying Times (Long Course) for April/ May 2023.

The North Eastern Counties is the highest level of competition in the Regional Squads competition calendar and swimmers (Aged 11 years + at 31st December 2023) should try to achieve as many qualifying times as possible.

Entry closing date for Leeds will be Monday 3^rd April.

Get chasing those times.

Final Reminder - Yorkshire Championships Entries 2023

Please ignore this if you have already entered and made payment.

Entries for the Yorkshire Championships will close at 21:30 this evening. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED!

Swimmers are advised to enter ALL races they have achieved a qualifying time in. For some swimmers it may look like you have a lot of events to race, however the meet is spread across three weekends, so you won't have to swim everything all in one go.

PLEASE NOTE SWIMMERS CAN ONLY ENTER AN EVENT IF THEY HAVE SWUM FASTER THAN THE QUALIFYING TIME BETWEEN 1st JANUARY 2021 and 9th JANUARY 2023.

Training Changes - January 2023

Hi All,

Please take note of the following changes to training for the Regional Squads during January due to pool bookings and competitions.

Regional Development

Friday 6th January - 18:30 - 19:30 (Just 1 hour)

Saturday 7th January - No Training (Squad competing at City of Leeds New Year Meet)

Monday 9th January - No Am Training (Recovery)

Saturday 14th January - 6:00 - 07:30 (Earlier time - NER Diving Comp)

Saturday 21st January - No Training for those swimmers competing in the Winter Development Meet (Training as normal for all others)

Regional Performance

Friday 6th January - 18:30 - 19:30 (Just 1 hour)

Saturday 7th January - No Training (Squad competing at City of Leeds New Year Meet)

Monday 9th January - No Am Training (Recovery)

2023 Club Registration Fees

Hi All,

Happy New Year!

Just a reminder that Club and Swim England fees can now be paid online through your My Membership account. The system will accept only card payments, either debit card or credit card.

City of Leeds Club and Swim England fees for 2023 are as follows.

1st child in family (£120 Club/ £36.10 SE)

£156.10 (LX Card = £108.10)

2nd child in family (£70.00 Club/ £36.10 SE)

£106.10 (LX Card = £78.10)

3rd and further child in family (£45.00 Club/ £36.10 SE)

£ 81.10 (LX Card = £63.10)

Once again, all fees must to be paid by 31^st January at the latest otherwise swimmers will be lapsed from the SE register and will not be eligible to train or compete.

Yorkshire SA Championships & Yorkshire SA Sprints Championships Entries 2023

Hi All,

Entries for the Yorkshire Championships will close at 21:30 on Monday 9th January.

The Yorkshire Championships is one of the biggest meets in the County and Regional Squads competition calendar and therefore swimmers should enter ALL races they have achieved a qualifying time in. For some swimmers it may look like you have a lot of events to swim when you fill your forms in, however the meet is spread across three weekends, so you won't have to swim everything all in one go.

PLEASE NOTE SWIMMERS CAN ONLY ENTER AN EVENT IF THEY HAVE SWUM FASTER THAN THE QUALIFYING TIME BETWEEN 1^st JANUARY 2021 and 9^th JANUARY 2023.

Remember to add on any events achieve qualifying times in at the New Year Meet. (Please do not pay if you intend to add events on after the New Year Meet as this will lock your account)

Hi All,

The City of Leeds New Year Meet is our first competition of 2023. Good luck everyone who is competing. This competition is the last opportunity to qualify for the Long Course Yorkshire Championships 2023. A link to the qualifying times can be found below.

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets will be £10 each and are payable by cash on the door, exact change would be preferable. Kids 12 and under go free. Swimmers are reminded to wear suitable footwear whilst walking around, particularly up and down the balcony steps and especially when wet.

MAK Swimwear will be in attendance, they will be based in the dance studio upstairs. There will also be a cash only raffle available with many exciting prizes, including our top prize of a X-Rocker Gaming Chair.
