City of Leeds New Year Meet Entries

Hi all,

Entries for the City of Leeds New Year Meet held at John Charles on Saturday 4th & Sunday 5th January are now open online. This will be open for entry until 21:30 on Monday 18th November. Entries are not accepted until payment is made, failure to pay before the deadline means your entries will not be processed.

This will be the last opportunity to qualify for the Yorkshire Long Course Championships 2025 before the closing date.

With this in mind we advise swimmers to enter any events you are close to qualifying in. Swimmers who have achieved Yorkshire times do not need to swim these events at the January Meet as you will be racing them in February, please focus on updating times in other races. There is limited space available in the 1500m/ 800m Freestyle, this will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Only swimmers who have already achieved a Yorkshire qualifying time in the 400m Freestyle should enter.

*Please note the 9 years Yorkshire times on the City of Leeds notice board are a guide to see if you are on track when you turn 10/11 (Swimmers aged 9 on day cannot enter the Yorkshire LC Championship, swimmers must be aged 10 at 31st December 2025).
