Some great swims over the first weekend of the NER's, lots of you stepping up when it counted and manging to put in some great performances.
Just a few things before you race this weekend.
Preparation for your race is almost more important than how you swim the race itself. If you do not prepare your body and mind in the correct way before you get on the blocks, it is not going to be able to perform to the level that you want it to. This prep starts hours before your race. Making sure you are warmed up properly, also making sure you are feeding yourself with the right fuel, especially with the long, hot days. Please make a big effort to keep energised and ready to race.

Withdrawals - If a swimmer is not going to swim in a heat, they must inform the Entry Manager of their intention to withdraw no later than 12pm on the Friday Evening for all events on the Saturday and 12pm on Saturday for events on Sunday. Seeded Heat Start lists will be produced. Notifications should be sent to: nerswimmingmanager@asaner.org.uk

Monday 12th May - No Am Training (Swimmers who have competed in NER's)
Normal (Swimmers who have not competed at NER's)
