Young Leader Event Volunteering, Training & Development Opportunities

We are delighted to make available a range of different learning and development opportunities for Young Leaders aged from 14 to 17 years of age to train, qualify and gain invaluable experience in a variety of roles at the Age Group Swim England North East Region (50m) Swimming Championships in Leeds on the 25th/26th April and 9th/10th May 2026.

The roles available include:

Official Trainee (Timekeeper & Judge 1)
Marshalling Assistant
Commentary Support
Results Runner
Front of House Assistant
Medals Presentation Assistant
Refreshments Assistant

Training, supervision and support will be provided for all roles. All Young Leaders will be provided with an event T-shirt and their expenses will be paid.
