Junior League - Northern Domination (We Are Leeds...Leeds...Leeds!)

What a fantastic and exciting day of racing down at John Charles earlier today. I would like to congratulate all of you on your behaviour, cheering, team spirit, swimming and most importantly winning the National Junior League Northern Final for the 8th time since entering this competition. You were all ace and the coaching staff are very proud of you. The team achieved a whopping 39 1st place finishes (7 more than last year!). Back to hard training now ready to put on a fight in the National Final at Corby on the 24th November.

We are now crowned the winners of the Northern Final in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018 & 2019

It was great to see all the parents having so much fun on the balcony as you cheered for your team, we hope you all had fun. Thank you for all the support you gave to each individual. Lets see if when we go to the final we can go with not just the best swimmers, but the best supporters as well.

The team would like to thank Kim Mathias and Joe Stott for their fantastic team managing and also David Broome, Jackie Broome and Andy Williams for their help on the day.

We have two coaches booked and the Team for the National Final will be announced soon (ages 9's & 10's following the Chester-le-Street Meet and ages 11's & 12's following the SC NER's).
