I hope you are all now getting excited and raring to go. Below are just a couple of reminders before we depart.
All swimmers will be given a laminated safe sport away card with the accommodation address and the emergency contact numbers.
Please ensure the following number is saved in your child's mobile phone before departure to Swansea. This safe sport away cards should be kept on the swimmer's possession at all times.

The Wales Travel Itinerary:
Meet at JCCS Aquatics Centre Tuesday 2nd August: 08:45
Coach Departs: 09:15 - 09:30
Arrive in Swansea: 16:00 (approximately)
Depart Swansea Monday 8th August: 09:30 (approximately)
Arrive at the JCCS Aquatics Centre: 16:30 (approximately) (We will ask children to keep you posted via mobile phones en-route. If you'd prefer your child not to have a mobile phone, please let Angela Dyer know, and she will keep you informed during the journey to any changes.)
Code of Conduct
Please be reminded that all swimmers have signed a code of conduct form and must abide by this at all times whilst away with the team.
Any breaches of the Code of Conduct shall be dealt with by the Lead Team Manager and the Head Coach.
WITHDRAWALS
There will be NO WITHDRAWALS from events unless under exceptional circumstances and only with permission of the Head Coach.
Supporters
Below are details of where to find us if you are coming down to support the team whilst we are competing in Wales. Please remember swimmers must stay with the team unless you have arranged otherwise with Angela Dyer before the trip. Any swimmers leaving for the day with parents must return and be present at the start of the finals session to support the team.

If you are joining us down in Wales to support, there is a Cafe located to the right of the reception area providing a range of food options and vending machines.

Please note that swimmers will not be permitted to use Mobile Phones, iPods & iPads during finals sessions, team meetings & team meals. If you do bring any electrical equipment, it is yours to look after. Staff will not be held responsible for lost items.
Medicine
All medicine should be clearly labelled with the swimmer's name and dosage requirements in a small plastic food bag and given to Team Manging Staff before departure.
Money
Swimmers will need a packed lunch or money (please keep money on you for journey to Swansea) to be able to get lunch on the journey down and will need money for the lunch on the return journey. You may leave money for emergency and food whilst at the competition and money for the return journey with Angela Dyer. There is a shop on campus should swimmers need to restock on snacks or drinks. There will also be a Welsh Summer Open shop to buy souvenir T Shirts, hoodies etc. If you wish to do this, please put the money in an envelope with the swimmer's name and amount clearly written on the envelope.
Tattoos
We now have some City of Leeds temporary tattoos for the Wales trip. These will be sold at £1 each and will be available to purchase from the Team Managing staff.
We have been made aware of some people who will be leaving us early, or not returning on the bus, if you will be doing this, please let Angela Dyer know in advance.
Remember that all team members travel in FULL Team Kit en-route to Swansea. Team members must be clearly visible for Team Leaders during stop-offs and in case of emergency.
Swimmers will be provided with a lanyard to put your room key on. Swimmers will be fined £10 for loss of room key.
