SUPER SPRINTERS

Some really good sprinting at the Yorkshire Sprints by the Regional Squads down at Sheffield and some amazing times. You should all be very pleased with yourselves. Three weekends of racing and all of them swum great, we are very proud of you all. We are currently in a big block of training which will take us up to Harrogate and through to the NER's. You may find some sessions tough, but this is aimed at getting you all into the best shape possible and race ready. Train at 100% effort every session to give yourself the best possible chance of success in the upcoming competitions. GET STUCK IN!!!

Overall as a group you achieved a whopping 36 PB's out of 51 Swims and 5 Yorkshire final swims.

Regional Squad SMASH the Yorkshire Championships!

After two hard weekends of competing, Regional Development & Performance performed outstandingly posting some fantastic times on the board.

Overall,

Regional Development achieved 41 PB's out of 57 Swims, 3 Yorkshire Final Swims, 9 Top 10 finishes in Yorkshire and 1 NER Qualifying Times. Great Stuff!

Leeds Sports Awards 2019 & Training Arrangements

Hi All,

We hope you are all looking forward to the Leeds Sports Awards on Thursday 28th February at Leeds First Direct Arena. Sporting stars from grass roots all the way up to Olympians are expected to be in attendance, alongside the coaches and volunteers who support them.

All swimmers who are attending Leeds Sports Awards will have the evening off training.

Any swimmers in Regional Performance and Regional Development who are not attending Leeds Sports Awards will train together at John Charles (18:30-20:00) on Thursday 28th February.

Kim Mathias will have tickets for collection from Monday 25th February.

Please take note of the event timings and dress code below;

17:30: Drinks reception in the Inner Concourse*
18:10: Dinner & awards ceremony starts
Approx. 22:30: Event finishes

IMPORTANT: Yorkshire Team Championships Arrival Times

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Please be reminded of the arrival times for those competing in the Yorkshire Team Championships at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, tomorrow. It is important to point out that there has been an amendment to the timings of the PM session. Arrival times are as follows:
