Yorkshire SA Championships & Yorkshire SA Sprints Championships Entries 2024

Hi all,

Entries for the Yorkshire Championships will close at 21:30 on Monday 8th January.

The Yorkshire Championships is one of the biggest meets in the County and Regional Squads competition calendar and therefore swimmers should enter ALL races they have achieved a qualifying time in. For some swimmers it may look like you have a lot of events to race, however the meet is spread across three weekends, so you won't have to swim everything all in one go.

PLEASE NOTE SWIMMERS CAN ONLY ENTER AN EVENT IF THEY HAVE SWUM FASTER THAN THE QUALIFYING TIME BETWEEN 1^st JANUARY 2022 and 8^th JANUARY 2024.

Remember to add on any events achieve qualifying times in at the New Year Meet. (Please do not pay if you intend to add events on after the New Year Meet as this will lock your account)

- On the Menu Bar click Gala's

- Click Enter Gala and follow the instructions

Converted times from short course are allowed. Some of you may need to use the converter below to see if your short course times converted to long course are a Yorkshire Qualifying time.

ASANER Qualifying Times 2024 - Long Course Champs

Hi All,

Here is a link to the new North Eastern Qualifying Times (Long Course) for April/ May 2024.

ASANER Consideration Times 2024 Long Course Championships

The North Eastern Counties is the highest level of competition in the Regional Squads competition calendar and swimmers (Aged 11 years + at 31st December 2024) should try to achieve as many qualifying times as possible.

Entry closing date for Leeds will be Monday 15th April.

There was some great racing from the Regional Squads at the Leeds Christmas Cracker, finishing 2023 in style.

March Madness Entries

Hi all,

Entries for the March Madness Meet held at Ponds Forge on Sunday 3rd March are no open for entry online and will close at 9:30pm on Monday 1^st January

Competition open to swimmers aged 9+ (Age as at 3rd March 2024).

This meet is Long Course and entries available will be 50's and 100's all strokes (not IM).

Below is a link to the information pack. Swimmers must not have swum faster than the upper time limits found in the pack.

Swimmers are advised to enter a maximum of 3 events per session. For those swimmers who have already got Yorkshire qualifying times, this is the perfect opportunity to start chasing the NER qualifying times.

City of Leeds Christmas Cracker & Training Changes

Hi all,

The Leeds Xmas Meet is the last meet of 2023 and is at the end of the current training cycle, let's make it a good one. Concentrate on the skills you have learnt in training and put them into practice in the racing pool.

Please remember that it is City of Leeds policy that all swimmers must arrive 30 minutes prior to warm up starting. Failure to check in with the team managing staff 30 minutes before warm up will consequence in a withdrawal of all swims in that particular session.

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets will be £5 per session and can be purchased here. Kids 12 and under go free.

MAK Swimwear will be with us all weekend. De Photo will also be in attendance, they will both be based in the dance studio upstairs. Please let the team at DE Photo know if you want your swimmers photographing specifically. We will also have Alpha Awards with us who will be able to engrave your swimmers medals if they wish at a cost of £2.50 which will be cash only.

Our supporters committee will also have a raffle, tombola, sweets and ice pops to sell so bring some change if you want to partake.

As always, if there are any withdrawals please let us know by Thursday 14th December 5pm at the latest by emailing leedsentries@gmail.com.
