Reminder - 2024 Club Registration Fees

Please ignore this if you have already made payment.

Just a reminder that there is only 1 week left to make payment for Club and Swim England fees. These can be paid online through your City of Leeds My Membership account. The system will accept only card payments, either debit card or credit card. You will be asked to update your medical details and photo consent etc, once this is done you will be taken to the checkout. Alternatively, payment can be found in the Membership Centre within the members drop-down, from the main menu.

City of Leeds Club and Swim England fees for 2024 are as follows.

Anyone holding a Leeds Card Extra will be entitled to a 40% discount off club membership fees only.

1st child in family (£120 Club/ £38.30 SE)

£158.30 (LX Card = £110.30)

2nd child in family (£70.00 Club/ £38.30 SE)

Photography

City of Leeds SC reserves the right to take and/or publish images of club members by the club's official photographer(s) in accordance with the SE Photography and Photographing Swimmers Policy.

If you do not wish your son/daughter/swimmer to be photographed, please notify the COLSC Child Welfare Officer in writing. Contact details can be obtained from the club's web site.

Once again, all fees must be paid by 31st January at the latest otherwise swimmers will be lapsed from the SE register and will not be eligible to train or compete.

We are still very short of volunteers for all sessions. Any additional help would be appreciated. At the moment some sessions may have to be cancelled!

We offer travelling expenses to all those assisting us at a Gala together with either a meal, or allowance for one, if working all day. We do not have an upper claim limit.

If you have purchased a Spectator Ticket we will obviously refund it!

The Leeds Sports Awards is back for a very special 21^st edition on Thursday 25^th April at the Centenary Pavillion Elland Road.

We have 12 awards available for nomination ranging across 3 different categories.

There will be no Saturday AM training for those swimmers in Regional Development who are competing in the Winter Development Meet this weekend.

Swimmers should report to Steve Cropper for this meet.

This meet cannot run without the help of parent volunteers.

Yorkshire Championships - Relay Teams 2024

Please only reply if you are unavailable for selection.

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The Yorkshire Championships Relay Event will take place on Sunday 18^th February 2024 at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield.

City of Leeds Swimming Club will be selecting a number of relay teams to compete in Medley and Freestyle team events, across the following age groups:

9/10yrs
11/12yrs
13/14yrs
15/16yrs
Open (13yrs+)

In previous years, we have selected a large number of teams to provide opportunities for as many members as possible to race as part of a relay team. Due to the event taking place during the school holidays, we understand some swimmers will not be around to take part.

If your child is unavailable on the above date, or does not wish to be selected, please let us know by return e-mail to Kevin.Schofield@leeds.gov.uk by 17:00 on Friday 19^th January 2024.

Those selected will be notified via e-mail before Friday 9^th February 2024.
