Social distancing outside of Leisure Centres

Parents,

We have received an email from the facility manager, who, has received an email from a visitor to JCC. The visitor has stated to the manager that when the swimmers are congregating outside of the fire door ready to come in to JCC, there is a lack of social distancing with the swimmers and parents.

Please can you make sure that your respective child adheres to social distancing outside of the building. I have asked the manager of JCC to obtain floor markings to identify suitable social distancing points for the swimmers.

There has also been concerns raised with parents not social distancing outside of the building in the car park and by the fire door. Whilst I appreciate this is a personal choice of how much you adhere to social distancing, it is part of our new operation procedures that we adhere to social distancing inside and out of the building on LCC property.

Thank you in advance for your support with this. We can all do our part to improve this.

Regional Development - Updated Squad Times

Hi All,

A big well done to everyone for getting to grips with the new entry and exit process in and out of the building so quick.

Now everyone has familiarised themselves with the new training protocols we have managed to look at the session timings and gain some extra pool time, which makes up for the 30 minutes lost on a Thursday evening at Armley.

The schedule below will be the new updated temporary training times for Regional Development. The updated schedule will start on Wednesday 16th September until further notice.

Regional Development - Mon & Sat Am

Hi All,

Just a reminder that when Regional Development are training in the dive pit on a Monday morning and Saturday morning, swimmers are to enter the building by the dry dive gym fire door. This is to the right of the main building entrance. Swimmers will then exit the building through the fire door by the staff car park, also to the right of the main building entrance.

All other sessions at John Charles Regional Development will be required to arrive and exit through the fire door at the clock end of the pool.

Notice of 2020 Annual General Meeting

The Annual General Meeting of the City of Leeds Swimming Club will take place on Monday 12^th October at 6.30pm.

At this stage it is expected this will be a Zoom meeting.
