We are looking forward to seeing some fast racing over the next few weekends. I know some of you have got close to your pb's in training over the last few weeks which suggests you are ready to race well at the Yorkshires.

Reminder - SE Fees 2022

Hi All

Thank you to those parents who have now logged on and completed payment for their child's City of Leeds Membership Fees and Swim England Renewal Fees for 2022.

Just a reminder for those that have not yet done so, Annual Swim England fees should be paid by logging into your online City of Leeds account.

On the Homepage, there will be a blue box saying, 'Tasks to Complete', please click 'Start Now'.

This will check that all your information is up to date and then take you through to payment for 2022.

Prices are as follows:

Club Fees Paid before 31st January

1 Swimmer= £110, 2 Swimmers (£64)= £174, 3 Swimmers + (£41) = £215

Club Fees Paid after 31st January

1 Swimmer= £115, 2 Swimmers (£69) = £184, 3 Swimmers + (£46) = £230

Swim England Fees

Club Train (SE Club Train) = £15.45

Club Compete (SE Club Compete) = £34.25

A reminder that the deadline for all fees to be paid is the 22nd of February otherwise swimmers will be lapsed from the Swim England register and will not be able to train or compete with us in 2022.

Winter Development Meet

Hi All,

There will be no Saturday AM training for those swimmers in Regional Development who are competing in the Winter Development Meet this weekend (Saturday 22nd January).

Swimmers should report to Joe Stott for this meet.

If there are any parents willing to help on the day, please email Anna Darnell (anna.darnell79@gmail.com) and let her know of your availability. This meet cannot run without the help of parent volunteers.

Yorkshire Swimming Championships (50m) 2022 - Spectator Tickets

SESSION INFORMATION AND AVAILABILITY OF SPECTATOR TICKETS AT LEEDS & SHEFFIELD

Entries have now closed for the Championships (50m) 2022, which are scheduled to take place at the John Charles Centre for Sport, Leeds on 5 th, 6th, 12th & 13th February and Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, Sheffield on 26th & 27th February 2022. All entries have been accepted.

Session Start times are as follows:

Saturday 5th February: 9am & 2-30pm (Warm Up 8am & 1-30pm)

Sunday 6th February: 9am & 2pm (Warm Up 8am & 1pm)

Saturday 12th February: 9am & 2-30pm (Warm Up 8am & 1-30pm)

Sunday 13th February: 9am & 2-30pm (Warm Up 8am & 1-30pm)

Saturday 26th February: 9am & 2pm (Warm Up 8am & 1pm)

Sunday 27th February: 8-30am – Mixed Sex 800m Freestyle (Warm Up 8am)

Further details will be issued regarding the Start times of the Team Events after entries close.

A capacity limit has been set for the John Charles Centre for Sport and Ponds Forge International Sports Centre so we will be pre-selling Spectators tickets, as we did for the Winter Competitions in 2021.

Purchase of tickets will be via an online system with tickets being sold on a first come/first served basis until the capacity is reached. We will not be selling tickets at the venue.

Tickets are priced at £10 per day, which entitles one person entry to the Spectator Gallery at any one time to spectate at the event. Where a swimmer is only competing in one session, or event, the ticket may be shared so that another person can attend for the remaining part of the session/day.

Applicants will only be able to purchase one ticket for each day. There will be no concessions except one child under 5 will be admitted when accompanying a ticket holder.

Tickets will be available from 9am on Friday 21st January 2022.

It must be understood that even though Spectators are in possession of a ticket they will be required to comply with the Covid restrictions that are in force at the time. This may include providing evidence of a Covid Pass or Negative test before they are allowed into the building.

Club & Swim England Fees 2022

We hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and New Year and look forward to another year of competing with us.

Just a reminder that Club and Swim England fees are due to be paid for 2022.

Please log in and complete the tasks on your My Membership homepage. This will check that all your information is up to date and then take you through to payment for 2022.

There will be a £5.00 discount applied per child for members who make payment of Club fees made before the 31st of January.

Prices are as follows:

Club Fees Paid before 31st January
