Harrogate Spa Town Meet & Training Changes

Hi All,

Please see below the alterations to training over this weekend due to Competitions.

Regional Development & Regional Performance
Thursday 28th March: Am - No Land Training (Start & Turn Practice until 06:45)
Friday 29th March - 19:00 - 20:00 (Just one hour - No Land Training)
Saturday 30th March - No Training (Squad competing at Harrogate Spa Town Meet)
Monday 1st April - No AM Training (All off to recover from the weekends competition)

National Qualifier Meet Tombola

Hi All,

The club are holding an Easter Egg tombola at the Leeds National Qualifier Meet over the weekend of the 12/13/14th April and are asking for donations of Easter Eggs. If you would like to make a donation please bring them to the book stall on club night or hand them to Kay Jackson, Georgina Logan or Lesley Williams.

England Talent County Camp Programme Selections 2019

Well done to the following swimmers from Regional Performance on their selection to the Swim England County Pathway Programme 2019.

The County Pathway Programme has been developed by the England Programmes Team. Swimmers have been selected as a result of their performances at the Yorkshire Swimming Championships in February 2019. 24 swimmers in total were selected (12 Male & 12 Female) all of whom will be 11 years of age at the 31st December 2019. Out of the 24 swimmers selected for the camp 11 were from the City of Leeds. The programme will consist of three one day camps to be held at Ashville College.

BOK Entries 2019

Hi All,

Entries for the BOK Spring Open Meet held at Huddersfield will be taken on Monday 18th March. This meet will be age as at 28th April 2019.

We advise swimmers to update their 200m Fs. As this is a one day meet we would suggest not entering more than 3 events per session.

Swimmers aged 9 and 10 years should enter the 100m IM as this will be one of the only competitors available with a 100m IM to qualify for the Winter Yorkshires.

We would also suggest entering the 50m FS and your best 50m form stroke as this will be the last opportunity to post times on the ASA rankings for Junior League selection, unless you have qualified to compete at the Long Course NER's in May.

Swimmers must not have swum faster than the event's upper limit time in the 12 months preceding the gala. Upper time limits can be found in the meet pack below. Those swimmers who have not competed in an event before can use the standard times formula to get an estimated time.
