In addition to the email just sent about competition refunds, I am able to confirm that Harrogate have now sent the refund back to the City of Leeds for any entries that were paid for in the Denison Suite.
Our Club Treasurer is ready to go ahead with the process of refunding everyone this weekend.

Please note, any swimmers who entered additional events direct with Harrogate after the City of Leeds closing date will be refunded for these by Harrogate. This will be via BACS from Harrogate into your account and not from the City of Leeds.
Jane is our volunteer Treasurer for the Club and will only be available to process payments on a weekend.

City of Leeds Spring Development Meet
All entries for this meet will be transferred over to the Summer Development Meet on Saturday 18th July. There will be no need to collect a refund unless you cannot make this date. If you do require a refund please send the Name of Swimmer, Name of Competition, Squad, Sort Code and Account Number to leedsentries@gmail.com. The Swimmer will be withdrawn from the computer and then details passed over to the Club Treasurer to obtain a refund. We will be in touch with an additional entry date into the Summer Meet in due course for those swimmers who did not enter the Spring Meet.
City of Rotherham Springtime Meet
At present we are still awaiting confirmation that this meet is cancelled. Once we have received refund from Rotherham into the Leeds account we can start the refund process for this competition. We will be in touch as soon as we have this information.

As from this evening Tuesday 17th March 2020 all of the Council Training Schemes will be suspended until further notice. This is to help with the containment of the COVID-19 within the City.
Below is a statement from a Council Spokesman. While we are reacting daily as a nation to the continuing situation we will keep you informed of any changes. In the first instance as the statement says we will be closed for the rest of March and April.
We will try and keep in contact with everyone when we know any further information.
As a result the Harrogate Spa Town Meet and the NER Championships will be cancelled for both Regional Squads.
In the meantime best wishes to everyone and stay safe and healthy.
Leeds City Council Aquatic Training Schemes.
A spokesperson for Leeds City Council said: "We continue to follow national guidance around managing the impact of Coronavirus in Leeds, and will therefore be closing a large number of our buildings and facilities to the public from tomorrow morning (March 18).
"Our teams on site have been working hard and continuing to welcome the public in recent weeks, but the safety and wellbeing of staff and the people of Leeds is always our first priority."
"In the meantime we will be developing our online content and will engage with people through our social media channels. We would also like to thank all our visitors and staff for their continued support and look forward to welcoming people back in future."
Notes: Council-run markets, libraries and community hubs will currently remain open to the public but group events or activities will not be held in community hubs and libraries until further notice.
