Harrogate Spa Town Entries 2020
Hi All,
Entries for the Harrogate Spa Town Graded Meet will be taken on Monday 27th January. Swimmers are advised to enter events they will have not raced in at the Yorkshires.
We would also suggest entering the 50m FS and your best 50m form stroke between these two meets to keep your times up to date for Junior League selection.
Please note the Harrogate Spa Town Meet is limited to 400 entries per club. So that we can give everyone an opportunity to race we ask that swimmers do not enter more than 6 events across both days. If 400 spaces are not filled by the entries taken on Monday evening we will reopen entries on Tuesday 28th January by email to fill any remaining spaces on a first come first serve basis.
Swimmers must not have swum faster than the Upper Limit Time in the previous 12 months but must have swum faster than the Lower Limit Time in the same period. Upper and Lower Qualifying times can be seen by using the links below. Swimmers who are wanting to try new events can use the standard times formula to work out an estimated entry time based on your PB's. However if you do use this please make sure your estimate is within the upper and lower qualifying times Harrogate have published.
We will start signing forms now. Please remember we will be unavailable to sign forms and discuss entries on Monday evenings as we will be coaching from 4.30pm onwards.

Yorkshire Championships 2020 Rejected Entries
We have had a dramatic increase in the number of swimmers who have qualified for the 800m & 1500m Freestyle at the Yorkshire County Championships to be held in February 2020. In order to keep sessions to a reasonable length it is necessary to reject a number of swimmers who have qualified for these Events.
We have still scheduled 10 heats of each event.
Rejections are based on the standard of the entrants across the various age groupings.
We realise that this decision will not be popular with some swimmers but there is little else that we can do in the circumstances. We apologise for any inconvenience that this decision may cause.
A list of Rejected Swims can be viewed using the link below.
Yorkshire Championships 2020 - Rejected Entries
All entries for the other events at the Championships have been accepted.
Arrangements will be made to refund the entry fees for the rejected swims.
Yours
Barry
