Easy Fundraising

The City of Leeds Swimming Club are always looking for new ways to raise funds to support our swimmers. The Club is registered with Easy Fundraising.

Easyfundraising.org.uk helps charities, schools, sports clubs, community groups, and other good causes to raise money when their supporters shop online. So far, they have raised over £3 million for causes throughout the UK.

It works in a similar way to many other loyalty shopping sites, but instead of earning points when you shop, you raise a donation for City of Leeds Swimming Club instead. It's as simple as that!

I am sure with Christmas fast approaching most of us will be doing our shopping online, so please register with easy fundraising, it really is a very simple way to boost funds for the club.

City of Leeds New Year Meet Entries

Hi All,

Just a reminder that entries for the City of Leeds New Year Meet held at John Charles on Saturday 7th & Sunday 8th January will close for entry online at 21:30 on Monday 21st November.

This will be the last opportunity to qualify for the Yorkshire Long Course Championships 2023 before the closing date.

With this in mind we advise swimmers to enter any events you are close to qualifying in.  Swimmers who have achieved Yorkshire times do not need to swim these events at the January Meet as you will be racing them in February, please focus on updating times in other races.

- Log into your online account using the link (https://swimleeds.myswimmingclub.uk/)

- On the Menu Bar click Gala's

- Click Enter Gala and follow the instructions

* Please note entries will not be accepted until payment is made, payment should be made on checkout.

 

*Please note the 9 years Yorkshire times on the City of Leeds notice board are from when the Yorkshires had a 9 year old age group competing, these are now used as a guide to see if you are on track to achieving your qualifying times when you turn 10/11 (Swimmers aged 9 on day cannot enter the Yorkshire LC Championship, swimmers must be aged 10 on 31st December 2023).

Autumn Development Meet Success

BOBSC Christmas Sprints

Junior League Supporters Tickets

Spectator tickets are now available to purchase for the Junior League Grand Final.  These can be purchased through your online City of Leeds account.  There will be 2 options.  Please select the correct option for you.

 

  • Junior League Grand Final Tickets (For parents travelling on supporters bus) = £41.00
  • Junior League Grand Final Tickets (For parents making their own travel arrangements) = £13.00

 

The spectator tickets checkout will close at 10am on Friday 18th November.  After this we will make the draw for parents who have expressed their interest in wanting additional tickets.

There will be no Saturday AM training for those swimmers in Regional Development who are competing in the Autumn Development Meet this weekend.

Swimmers should report to Steve Cropper for this meet.

Junior League Travel Arrangements & Spectator Tickets

Thank you to all those that have confirmed their child's place for the Junior League on Sunday 27th November.  I am still waiting on a few confirmations, please could you let me know by 15:00 on Friday 11th November if your child is not available to swim. 

 

We are pleased to announce that the response to put on a supporters coach was positive and we have now booked this.   

 

Each child is allocated 1 parent spectator ticket per child competing.  Please could you let me know if you will not be attending to spectate so I can add your ticket to the draw for parents wanting to purchase an additional ticket. 

 

Please could parents who wish to go in the draw for an extra ticket let me know by the end of today. 

 

The prices will be as follows. 

Parents travelling on coach (spectator ticket included) = £41.00 

Parents making own travel arrangements = £13.00
