A Team Above All But Above All A Team

Junior League Parade 2024

Hi all,

On Monday 16th December at 18:30 we will host a parade to recognise the success of our Junior League Team at the Inter-League Final in Corby on Sunday 24th November.

At this time training all squads will be postponed as we congratulate the Team on their recent win.

Swimmers who are training at this time may wish to bring a towel to keep warm whilst they observe the parade.

Junior League Parade 2024

Hi all,

On Monday 16th December at 18:30 we will host a parade to recognise the success of our Junior League Team at the Inter-League Final in Corby on Sunday 24th November.

All members of the team who represented the club's A Team in either the White Rose round or the Grand Final of the competition will receive a medal to recognise the role they have played.

Each member is therefore required to wear the Junior League T-shirt or a club T-shirt for the parade (Shorts may be worn too). The parade shouldn't take much longer than 15 minutes.

City of Leeds Christmas Cracker & Training Changes

Hi all,

The Leeds Xmas Meet is the last meet of 2024 and is at the end of the current training cycle, let's make it a good one. Concentrate on the skills you have learnt in training and put them into practice in the racing pool.

Please remember that it is City of Leeds policy that all swimmers must arrive 30 minutes prior to warm up starting. Failure to check in with the team managing staff 30 minutes before warm up will consequence in a withdrawal of all swims in that particular session.

We are delighted to be able to have 600 spectator tickets available. Tickets will be £5 per session and can be purchased here. Kids 12 and under go free.

Please ensure that swimmers have suitable footwear on whilst walking around, particularly up and down the balcony steps and especially when wet.

MAK Swimwear will be with us all weekend. De Photo will also be in attendance, they will both be based in the dance studio upstairs. Please let the team at DE Photo know if you want your swimmers photographing specifically. We will also have Alpha Awards with us who will be able to engrave your swimmers medals if they wish at a cost of £2.50 which will be cash only.

Our supporters committee will also have a raffle, tombola, sweets and ice pops to sell so bring some change if you want to partake.

As always, if there are any withdrawals, please let us know by Thursday 12th December 5pm at the latest by emailing leedsentries@gmail.com.

Club & Swim England Fees 2025

Would all swimmers/ parents please note that the City of Leeds Club membership & Swim England registration fees are due from the 1st January 2025.

Fees can be paid through your online accounts from the 1st January 2025.

The deadline for payments will be January 31st. Any swimmers who have not paid by 31st January will be removed from the Swim England register, this means they will not be able to train or compete.

Anyone holding a Leeds Card Extra will be entitled to a 40% discount off club membership fees only.

City of Leeds Club and Swim England fees for 2025 are as follows.

1st child in family (£120 Club/ £40.05 SE)

£160.05 (LX Card = £112.05)

2nd child in family (£70.00 Club/ £40.05 SE)

£110.05 (LX Card = £82.05)

3rd and further child in family (£45.00 Club/ £40.05 SE)

£85.05 (LX Card = £67.05)

City of Leeds SC reserves the right to take and/or publish images of club members by the club's official photographer(s) in accordance with the SE Photography and Photographing Swimmers Policy.

If you do not wish your son/daughter/swimmer to be photographed, please notify the COLSC Child Welfare Officer in writing. Contact details can be obtained from the club's web site.
