City of Leeds Level X - Sat 17th July

Hi all,

The City of Leeds will be holding an internal competition for all City of Leeds swimmers on Saturday 17th July.

Entries will be open to all swimmers in National Age Group, Junior Performance, Regional Development, Regional Performance, County West, County East , Regional Fast Track, and selected swimmers from National Squad.

Training will be cancelled on Saturday 17th July for all squads to allow them to compete, except those swimmers in the National squad who are not taking part. Training for these swimmers will take place as normal.

Entry to this meet is now open. Please use the new online system to enter your child into the competition (https://swimleeds.myswimmingclub.uk/). Coaches will be able to log on and see which events your swimmers have entered and raise any concerns before the closing date at 12:00pm on Monday 5th July. There will be no charge for entries into this competition.

Events will mirror the Yorkshire SC Championships (50m, 100m all events, 100m, 200m & 400m IM).

We recommend that swimmers aged 9-12 swim the 100m Individual Medley if you have not qualified for the SC Yorkshires as this will be the last opportunity to race this event before the closing date. Swimmers should enter 2-3 races per session.

Following the closing date, a draft programme will be made available on the City of Leeds website for checking. Any errors must be reported to leedsentries@gmail.com by Friday 9th July.

Due to current government restrictions this meet will be for City of Leeds swimmers only and no spectators will be allowed into the building.
