ASANER Age Group Championships 2024

Hi all,

Entries for the North Eastern Counties are now open and will close at 9:30pm on Monday 15th April. Swimmers are advised to enter ALL EVENTS they have qualified for. This is the biggest competition in the Regional competition calendar and one of the hardest to qualify for. Anyone who has achieved a time (even if it is only in one event) should race. This meet is a fantastic opportunity to compete against the fastest swimmers in the North East.

Held at John Charles Aquatics Centre on 27th/ 28th April and 11th/, 12th May

Open to swimmers aged 11 yrs + (Age at 31st December 2024)

*Qualifying times must have been achieved no earlier than 1st September 2022 & be downloaded from the British Swimming Rankings. Converted Times will be accepted using the ASA Equivalent Performance Tables. Times set in Level 4 Meets will not be accepted.

To make entry into the competition

- On the Menu Bar click Gala's

- Click Enter Gala and follow the instructions

* Please note entries will not be accepted until payment is made, payment should be made on checkout. Please do not pay now if you are planning on entering additional swims at a later date.

Spectating at the Championships

NER will be pre-selling the admission tickets for all days. Tickets will be sold on a first come/first served basis until the capacity is reached. We will not be selling tickets at the venue. Tickets are priced at £10 per day, which entitles one person to spectate at the event at any one time.

As long as there is only one person in the venue per ticket they can be passed onto other parents to use. There will be no concessions except one child under 5 will be admitted when accompanying a ticket holder.

Tickets will be put on sale by the NER at 9am on Wednesday 10th April 2024.
