Welsh Summer Open Meet - Day 5

The team didn't disappoint on the last day. Medals were won and many PB's achieved. A fantastic end to a sensational week of swimming in Swansea. The team couldn't be prouder of the swimmers. On the final day, City of Leeds swimmers achieved: 4 Gold's, 4 Silver & 3 Bronze Medals. The swimmers achieved 60 PB's out of 92 Swims, including 21 Final Swims (14 finals where swimmers converted from heat to final).

Today's highlight was the amazing atmosphere the team created through chants during finals. We really cheered those swimmers on. I'm certain the team could be heard on the live stream. We also had an evening trip to the beach, and a sleepover to celebrate an amazing and successful week in Swansea.
